3.1 Drilling Jar

Drilling jar is an effective tool to remove the stuck drilling accident. When the drilling tool encounters resistance or stuck, it can be loosened by starting the shock to the stuck point up or down, so as to achieve the purpose of removing the stuck and blocked.

Because the drilling jar greatly improves the efficiency of dealing with stuck drilling accidents, it has been widely used in drilling and workover operations.

3.1.1 Double Acting Hydraulic Drilling Jar

The Type DJ-DH drilling jar is a tool with both up and down strokes. The tool can be controlled by lifting force to realize stepless adjustment of the jarring force. It can effectively protect the drill string and improve the service life.

The jar is manufactured with new special materials and patented hydraulic energy storage mechanism design. It has the characteristics of simple operation, good stability and high safety. It is widely used in drilling, coring, workover and salvage operations.

3.1.2  Hydro-Mechanical Drilling Jar

DJ-MH drilling jar structure is: upper part-hydraulic type. It can realize step less adjustment of tonnage up stroke. The specially designed locking mechanism can avoid the false shock of the top hit. The down stroke is mechanical. Mainly used in directional well and deep well drilling operations.

3.2 Drilling Accelerator

The drilling accelerator is an acceleration tool used in conjunction with the drilling jar. It can accelerate the drill collar and jar during the jar operation, so that the stuck point can obtain more jarring force (up to twice). At the same time, it can reduce the vibration of drill string rebound and protect the drill tool. There are two series of Drilling Accelerator, one is series DA-DH for using with Double Acting Hydraulic Drilling Jar, and another is series DA-MH for using with Hydro-Mechanical Drilling Jar.
